It only makes me laugh.

 *Twang* GOTCHA!

Yes, it is true. The rumors are now being confirmed by me  - I dressed as cupid for Valentines day.

It was FANTASTIC. Cold as all freakin' hell, but awesome none-the-less.
The whole thing started with me being all sad and depressed because I am now newly single again and that sucked. Therefore I was going to dress in solid black in mourning on V-day. However, I was talking to a very dear friend of mine who thought that was a bad idea and was trying to think of something else. "How about...YOU DRESS AS CUPID!"
"That's....crazy enough...it just might work!" Said I.
So we went all over Corvallis seeking a cupid costume and turned up with zilch. However, our last stop was across from Joann Fabrics. My friend, being the fantastic seamstress that she is, thought to stop in there and buy the fabrics and she would sew me a cupid outfit. So there I am, dressed in an ancient Greek tunic/dress thing, with a very soft and plush piece of red fabric, Goodwill shoes (real leather and very stylish), heart shaped glasses, and wings. In the basket was 5 pounds of candy bought at WinCo and all I did was hand it out to pretty girls, and whoever wanted some, all day. I had multitude of pictures taken of me, lots of smiles, a few "NOT ALRIGHT!", and one guy who actually made me stand in front of his laptop which was video conferencing with...well...who knows ^_^. I actually ran out of candy and had to run back to WinCo and buy three more pounds! And yes, I did it in my costume. It was awesome.

Keep in mind that in Oregon the weather was going nuts. It started out overcast and 30 degrees, then it got a bit sunny, then it started raining, then it down poured, snowed, got sunny, overcast, then night. It was CRAZY. Also considering that I was wearing practically nothing, and under that tunic? Well...don't ask.

Overall, I'd give the day two thumbs up. However, because I neglected to do any work that day, I've been catching up ever since, and haven't been able to write about it. Which is why this is so very late.
